ServicesLivestock trailers

Livestock trailer washing, between loads.

We wash and disinfect livestock trailers between loads, at your wash bay: the ramp and every deck, from the top deck down. Our mobile rig brings hot and cold water pressure washers and hoses, and we hook up to your water.

* Typical; your quote confirms it.

01 · When to book

Between loads, on your schedule.

Tell us how often you haul, or call when a trailer’s due. We’ll get back to you to agree a day and a price.

  • Every load, or every week or every other week

Trailer wash between loadsA few hours per trailer*

In an Ontario survey of wash bays, a pot-belly trailer after a market-hog load averaged about 3 hours of labour in summer and 3½ in winter. Breeding-stock loads take longer.

  • December to March

Trailers in freezing weatherA few hours per trailer*, plus thaw time if it's frozen

A washed trailer left outside can freeze in as little as 20 minutes. A frozen one may need a heated bay overnight to thaw. Line up a heated bay and a place to dry the trailer before the cold.

02 · What we wash

Every deck and the ramp.

Tell us about your trailers. We wash from the top deck down, so nothing drips onto a clean deck.

  • Hog trailers, triple-deck included
  • Other livestock trailers: tell us the type and decks when you ask
  • The loading ramp
  • Every deck: floors, walls and ceilings, from the top deck down
  • Gates, both sides, and partitions
  • Deck planks and winter boards, washed on both sides once they're out
  • Wheels, undercarriage and storage boxes, when you ask for them
  • Internal chutes and sort boards, if your trailer has them
  • Disinfecting after the wash: a Health Canada product with a DIN, at the label rate and contact time; your customer's or vet's choice, or one we agree with you

You do

Before we arrive

  1. Scrape out at the unloading site, before manure dries or freezes on.
  2. Get the deck planks, winter boards and gates out, or ready to come out.
  3. Tell us when the trailer is free and when it's needed back.
  4. Show us the hydrant or tap, and where the bay drains.
  5. In winter, have the trailer thawed or a heated bay booked, plus a heated space to dry it.
  6. If your customer needs a wash report, send us their form.

We do

On wash day

  1. Bring the rig to your wash bay: hot and cold water pressure washers and hoses. We hook up to your water.
  2. Soak, then wash from the top deck down to the ramp.
  3. Use soap or disinfectant only where it's needed, matched to your specs. Animal-safe products only.
  4. Check every deck before we disinfect.
  5. Disinfect the clean, drained surfaces at the label rate and contact time: the product your customer or vet names, or one we agree with you.
  6. Give you the date, place and product for each trailer's wash record.
  7. Pencil in the next wash when you make it a repeat booking.

03 · Before & after

Same trailer, same evening.

A triple-deck hog trailer at the wash bay in June 2026: backed in with its ramp still bedded with shavings, and the same trailer washed down later that evening. Shot from two sides of the bay, so the two halves are different views.

After: the same trailer from the other side of the bay, washed, with its decks and ramp clean down to the metal.
Before: a triple-deck hog trailer backed into a wash bay, its loading ramp down and still bedded with wood shavings and manure.

Talk to a hauler near you.

Most farmers hear about us from a neighbour. Tell us your county and your trailer, and we’ll ask a customer who hauls nearby if they’re happy to take your call. No sales pitch from us.

  1. Tell us your county and your trailer.
  2. We ask a customer who hauls nearby if they’re happy to talk.
  3. You get their name and number.

05 · Pricing

A price before we book.

Every trailer is different, so we price yours after a few questions or photos. These are the things that change the price:

  • Trailer type and number of decks
  • What's left in it: scraped out or not, and baked-on or frozen manure
  • Deck planks, winter boards and gates to wash
  • Disinfecting, and whose product
  • Thaw and drying time in winter
  • How many trailers per visit

06 · Questions

Straight answers.

Something else on your mind? Call or text — you’ll talk to the crew, not a call centre.

Do you come to our wash bay?

Yes. We bring the rig to your bay, so the trailer doesn't go anywhere. The trailer in our photos was washed in a wash bay. Washing in a yard depends on where the wash water can go, so ask us first.

Do I need to supply the water?

Yes. Our rig carries hot and cold water pressure washers and hoses, not water. We hook up to your hydrant or tap. Tell us where the bay drains.

How long does a trailer take?

A few hours per trailer*. In an Ontario survey of wash bays, a pot-belly trailer after a market-hog load averaged about 3 hours of labour in summer and 3½ in winter. Breeding-stock loads and frozen trailers take longer. Your quote gives our time.

Can you come in the evening, between loads?

Ask us. Tell us when the trailer is free and we'll see what we can work out. The trailer in our photos was washed one evening in June 2026.

Do you disinfect, and with what?

Yes, after the wash, because disinfectant doesn't work on dirt. We use a Health Canada-registered product (look for the DIN) at the label rate and contact time: the product your customer or vet names, or one we agree with you.

Do you pull and wash the winter boards and deck planks?

Yes, we wash them on both sides once they're out. When you book, tell us who pulls them and puts them back.

Can you wash trailers in winter?

With a plan we agree with you first. A washed trailer left outside can freeze in as little as 20 minutes, and disinfectant has to stay unfrozen for its full contact time, so we agree a heated bay or another method the label allows. A frozen trailer may need a heated bay overnight to thaw first.

Do we get a wash record?

We give you the date, place and product for each trailer, for your wash record. Commercial livestock carriers must record when and where each trailer was last cleaned and disinfected.

How do you price a trailer wash?

We quote by the job: the trailer type and number of decks, what's left after the scrape-out, deck planks and winter boards to wash, disinfecting and whose product, thaw time in winter, and how many trailers per visit.
